According to the WHO, one in 160 children of children have autism.  Due to the inability to control their emotions, children who are diagnosed with autism can overreact to stimuli instantaneously. "They have a huge, strong reaction and there’s no lead-in or build-up, They can’t inhibit that immediate behavior response.” (Interview, Meintjes, 2021) Insights from an interview revealed that the products in the market are limited and consist of only 2D.

Blossom: TDA Light Project

Using a persona from Ikea, I created a mock flat-pack light. The light can be hung from the ceiling or placed on any counter top as seen in the image. It is intended for the persona of 'ALEXIS! - Trendy, Witty, Extremely social,  really nice aesthetics, independent and modern taste'.
Meatball's Cage
‍
A suitable and safe living environment is crucial for small pets. The original cage, which was purchased for Meatball (the hamster) and a sibling, proved to be inadequate and unsafe due to its subpar quality and ill-conceived design. I decided to design a new cage. Unlike the previous one, this habitat will cater to Meatball's specific needs, ensuring safety and ample space. Special attention is given to non-toxic materials, easy cleaning, and maintenance, creating a hygienic environment.
